I’m currently in my final year of a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and aiming to break into a Data Analyst role.
I wanted to understand the current market scenario for freshers in India:
How difficult is it to land a Data Analyst role as a fresher?
Are companies hiring entry-level data analyst, or is it mostly experienced roles?
Also, I’d really appreciate guidance on preparation. From your experience:
- What are the non-negotiables for a fresher Data Analyst?
(Skills/tools/concepts that I must know before applying)
What should my preparation roadmap look like in the next 4–6 months?
How important are projects, and what kind of projects actually stand out?
Any common mistakes freshers make that I should avoid?
My current skills:
