I've been looking to get a new filament printer and hopefully use it to print minis. I have an ancient monoprice IIIP which is barely holding itself together at this point, and an Elegoo printer which I can't currently use as my ventilation setup isn't great.

Every post I found on here suggest the Bambu A1 with 0.2 nozzle, and I had settled on that until I heard about Bambu's recent open source and cloud debates; frankly I don't want to buy from them at the moment. What do you all think is the best non-Bambu budget printer for miniatures and why?
