eggs?
i might just be a concerned mother and i know this photo is pretty poor but would anyone be able to tell me if she looks gravid?
she’s 2 years old and tonight i caught her digging a pretty deep hole in her substrate, which is very uncommon for her. she’s also looking very round in the belly compared to usual and for the past month or so she hasn’t been eating as much as she usually does.
i don’t want to disturb her if it’s not necessary because she really really hates handling but i will if anyone has any inkling that she may be carrying eggs. just to shine a light and confirm or not and then back to her enclosure.
she has a humid hide, has never been with a male (i know they don’t need a male to lay eggs), and i give her the appropriate calcium and multivitamins. is there anything else i should do to prepare for the case that she is gravid?
