Looking for some new book. I like books that lean towards speculative fiction, exploring differences which are often sci-fi adjacent.

Some books I have read and enjoyed recently: Walkaway by Cory Doctorow

Woman on the Edge of Time by Marge Piercy

The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K Le Guin

The Three Body Problem by Liu Cixin

Hammajang Luck by Makana Yamamoto

One book I read recently that I didn’t love:

A Pslam for the Wild Built by Becky Chambers

I plan to read plenty more Le Guin. What else should be on my radar?

I am new to koreader, but so far love it on my Kobo Libra Colour. I recently got it on my Android phone, but have noticed the default gestures of pulling down from the top or up from the bottom conflict with my phone's gestures. These work great on my Kobo, but not so much on Android.

What are other people doing with koreader on Android to prevent these conflicts?

I have what I think are the default brightness and warmth gestures setup. Left side brightness, right warmth. It seems like for both of them I often have to try multiple times to get them to work. Often nothing happens, sometimes it does register but doesn’t change much.

I was using the brightness gesture on stock Kobo and it was a smooth and easy motion.

Is there a trick to it in koreader?
