Would love to hear some opinions on purchasing a new travel lens.

When I first got my s9, I sold my Lumix 18-40 as I hated extending the lens before shooting. Instead I got the Lumix S 24-60 f2.8 which is versatile and has a really nice rendition. As much as I enjoyed the lens, I sometimes find myself not wanting to bring it especailly when i have to carry all day/ for some short trips. So I'm looking for a new lens, mainly for travel use.

28-35mm focal length would have been my go to, but I already got Ricoh GR IIIx with me all the time. 35mm is too close and compact 28mm L mount lens doesn't really exist.

What's your take on the Sigma 24mm vs the Lumix S 18-40?
