Ever since I had the Anker E10 system installed, storm-related power issues have stopped being a concern. I've got the full setup - 2 E10 with 2 batteries each, connected with the power dock as a subpanel, and the 5500 Generator sitting outside on natural gas. During the day, I have roughly 5kW of solar connected via DC and AC to fully charge and run fully off-grid.
The last 2 months have been rather eventful with several large-scale severe thunderstorms, some with tornados, and multiple cases where I've received alerts that the Solix system has gone into off-grid mode when grid power was lost - and not a single time was my day-to-day life interrupted in the slightest. Essentially, the system has allowed me to do my work from home, enjoy time with family, and even more with full battery backup and no blackouts. Even without storms, when the grid goes out and the power company has to come out and make repairs, the only way I even know that the grid is out is by way of the app notifying me that the grid is down.
