so being indecisive person I am, I can’t decide for myself anymore.

i’m in year 11 and my subjects are general maths, English, VCD, accounting, chemistry and psychology(3/4)

i was thinking of dropping chemistry OR accounting for media, since I’m a veteran at folio subjects and have been doing VCD from year 7, and I generally enjoy doing folio subjects.

However, I’ve come to the conclusion that I shouldn’t drop chemistry, but drop accounting. Legitimately all I do in class is scratch my balls because I have no idea what is going on since I dropped methods for it and entered class without knowledge from step up days at the end of year 10.

I did okay in my first accounting test but I know I did buns on the last one m, honestly I didnt know how to study for either of them because I had no idea what was going on and had to rely on just memorising and rather than understanding.

Maybe it’s because it’s the start of the year and everyone is struggling, but really i dont think I need to struggle this hard since I know ill be better off doing media, and I might even get a better ss for it. However, I haven’t done media previously and it’s a risk changing because even though i know 3/4 is making a short film or comic or whatever (sounds cool!), I don’t know what else they do in class

According to my subjects rn, chemistry and accounting will be counted as the last subjects counted in my atar, and thus they will only contribute a small amount. I know I’ll do better in media, but then it will also be one of the least contributing subjects, or I will do better and it’ll pusch another subject down.

Should I switch to media, or should I just stay in accounting? Is it worth it to change subjects and potentially get a better ss, or get a worse one and hate the subject but it doesn’t matter because either subject will be counted in the bottom 2?

(p.s, im not aiming for a particularly high atar, 85-90 is fine.)
