normally we can only get 2 white dwarfs every 4 hours by watching ads, but now i can get as many white dwarfs here as i want by watching ads again and again. must be a bug, but it's a massive opportunity if you want it

using the new "collect" button seems to revert it to normal and the 4 hour timer comes back. so instead just click elsewhere on the screen and blow up those stars the old fashioned way, and they seem to never run out

the only way to get next level guidance viii

next level guidance viii is behind knowledge booster v, but knowledge booster v is unaffordable. a 7day empty strategy with all the important reality engine upgrades yielded only 300Udc (3E38) knowledge, out of 31Ddc (3.1E40) knowledge needed to max out knowledge booster v. so it takes 100 7day runs, or 40 14day runs, or 560 days total

idea speed booster v used to be affordable before beyond ep30 update, so some of us have maxed it out back then. after beyond ep30 it became unaffordable, and knowledge booster v came out at the same price with industrial revolution update

so here is the trick: refund reality engine. we get a massive amount of knowledge because of idea speed booster v. now use the knowledge to max out knowledge booster v instead for the same price. we can then buy next level guidance viii, which is cheap

refunding idea speed booster v can be used to buy all the new important reality engine upgrades in industrial revolution update as well. i didn't do it because i thought one 7day run would blow past all these, i was wrong

just like time chambers, human spark increases knowledge production by a variable multiplier that changes during the run, and thus there's similarly a strategy to increase the multiplier before getting too many converter fills

human spark's knowledge multiplier increases exponentially by the number of humans, so the key is to increase humans without getting knowledge. note that this strategy can be combined with the 7/14 day empty strategy. so here's the strategy:

  1. progress exclusively on the entropy side. don't buy stone age. buy everything you can to increase entropy production, and use the entropy to buy as many humans as possible

  2. make the minimum tree for martian city and singularity. that means buy only what is necessary for the next generator, and don't buy other superfluous nodes that just increase production. this is to minimize knowledge fills by minimizing idea production, while still maximizing the number of idea generators, which are needed for entropy production

  3. buy as many idea generators as you can. this increases entropy production, so you can progress further on the entropy side. with that, buy as many humans as possible. the first three screenshots are from the end of this stage

  4. this is it. you have maximized humans while minimizing idea production. now buy everything

i tested doing two runs, one with this strategy, one without, both to 1932 fills. without the strategy, 97.86Udc knowledge. with the strategy, 225.73Udc knowledge. so the difference is slightly more than 2x

...what a convoluted mess this is... but yeah, we have to do stuff like this because we cannot close the tap on knowledge converter. it will get messier and messier as they add more stuff like this to reality engine
