Disneyland vacation went bust

Took our 3.5 L1 toddler to

Disneyland Park for the first

time.

Day I

- drove 8-ish hours (with few

stops in between.

- got to the hotel, he refused

to enter the room at first

- one he is in the room,

he took time to acclimate,

then we had him get ready

to go to the park.

BIG MISTAKE!

he was crying the whole

time that when are got

back to the room (walking

distance only from the

park), he won't come in

again, and after we foreched him in, he also was

trying to open the door to

go out and go to bed...

8 hours away :( he

eventually fell asleep in our

arms

Day,

- we went back to Disney-

land. His mood was much better, but he

won't go down his stroller and was

mostly sightseeing,

- Wont let us sit down to eat, so we were

basically going around

the parks in 4 hours,

- asked to go back to the hotel 4 hours

in, and from then on

we stayed in. he

was happy playing with his new train (new train toy out of

178964 other train

related toys we got

him) and we were

stuck w him in

the room. No energy nor incentive to invite him out again as he did not seem to enjoy the park.

cancelled our Day 3, lost $$ on tickets but luckily we got the room $ back.

I guess I just needed to vent.
