Have a question for those that have purchased their frame from an EU dealer and shipped to the states. What should I expect hassle wise and how much did you have to pay in import taxes and whatnot. Also did you have to pay state sales tax as well? ChatGPT helped a bit but it isn’t giving me solid numbers just approx amounts and percentages. Tia
Who in your opinion should or should not get/own the Y1RS? Does it really matter if your ftp is 80 or 800? Would you enjoy it as much as you’d enjoy and super comfortable any given less aero and slower brand bike? Are the “Omg he’s so slow why’d he get that bike” or “you’re not a racer should’ve bought something cheaper and better for you” people right at the end of the day? No one seems to talk about these topics, go for it have at it I wanna hear your experience and opinions.
Has anyone imported a Y1RS from Europe to the states? I’m in the talks about getting one from Belgium and was wondering what tariffs and taxes I should be expected to pay and if it’ll make financial sense? Tia
