Looking for community theatres/hole in the wall productions to work on In Colorado
Hi!! Im currently looking for any opportunites in the fall to work as an electrician/stagehand in a small local community theatre! Ive been working at the regional theatre in Denver as union overhire consistently for about a year now. I absolutely love the work that Ive been doing, and have learned so so much. But doing high level productions for a corporation is exhausting, and I want to seek an experience that will let me experiment with how I work and challenge me in different ways , not just in the scale of the production n high production value. For refrance, I'm 21 , and have only be working for IATSE for 3 years, and have been studying Technical Theatre part-time at a local university, n although I lack some experience, I feel like I am a fairly capable electrician/stagehand. If anyone is aware of small projects/ theatres that are lookin for stagehands or lighting electricians in Colorado, Lmk!!! I want to do theatre for shitty pay and enjoy doing it !!! I love this craft!!
