Gold after the Fed: A strong rebound, but the decision is not yet final.

Following yesterday's Fed decision, gold fell sharply.

Then it rebounded from lows near 4520.

The rebound is clear, but it doesn't mean the trend has completely changed.

⚠️ What do we see now?

🟡 Gold has returned above 4600. This is a positive short-term move.

🟡 The nearest significant resistance is at 4630-4650. Breaking through this level would give greater upward momentum.

🟡 The nearest current support is at 4590-4570. Breaking below this level would quickly bring back downward pressure.

💣 Why did gold move this way?

  • The Fed held interest rates steady, but the statement was cautious.
  • The market understood that interest rates wouldn't be lowered easily.

Therefore, gold initially came under pressure. But after the sharp drop, buying began at the bottom.

⚠️ Most Likely Scenario:

  • Hold above 4600 ← Attempt to rise towards 4630 – 4650
  • Break above 4650 ← Opens the way towards 4680
  • Break below 4570 ← Renewed pressure towards 4540 – 4520

📌 Conclusion:

Gold has rebounded… but is still being tested. A true upward move requires breaking above 4650. Failure there could trigger renewed selling.

Is gold starting to regain its strength… or is this just a correction after the decline?
