When to stop servicing a car
Hi
I’ve got a 2009 Ford fiesta 1.4 zetec petrol. It’s done 140k miles. However in the past few years I’ve gone to service it, it’s costing me anywhere between £600-£1000. I didn’t service it last year for that reason.
It’s probably only worth £500-£600 in the trade.
When would you consider stopping servicing the car? My current mindset is to not service it and just MOT it and keep it until it dies which would be soon, who knows. That way I save the service money and potentially put it towards a slightly newer car.
Thanks
