I'm getting mixed results. Trying to figure out if my 15 year old daughter has to be added to my auto insurance if she passes her permit test next week? Located in Kentucky.

My insurance agent says yes it's required but other insurance offices in my area say no it's not required until she receives her license and is able to drive independently. This is because her parents which are the policy holders are present in the vehicle when she has her permit. Can anyone clarify?

It's going to add about $70 more to my monthly premium so I want to know for sure.

I bought a Kyocera DuraXV and was floored when I opened the box. It's enormous for a flip phone. Same with the Sonin XP3 and I feel like you can build a house out of Sonim XP5s lol. I have older smartphones that are similar in overall size as some of the new flip phones offered.

Joking aside, I do appreciate the fact that manufacturers even still offer the less sophisticated phones. However, I find myself missing the smaller size of the early 2000s flip and candybar style phones. The Orbic Journey V is about as close as I have been able to get. I'm 42 years old and grew up in that era so I have a bit more of an attachment to that style of phone.

Does anyone else feel this way?
