Help! Okay so im sorry this is so vague but ive looked EVERYWHERE and my brain just wont remember enough details.

So im trying to find a movie (or show ) where the protagonist (I feel like it was a group of people ?) Find or meet a person who is mute or paralyzed and when they return that person to some one they actually know, as theyre leaving the person looks at them leaving with fear. Like they've got it all wrong.

I cant remember anything else, like the actors the clothes NOTHING. Im so fustrated.
