I've had my Pimax Crystal Light for over a year with no major issues, but after leaving it unused for a few months I'm now unable to get it working properly. Before trying yesterday, I updated Pimax Play and the firmware to the latest versions.
- Headset Firmware: V1.0.19
- Pimax Play Version: V1.43.6
- OS: Windows 11 Pro 10.0.26200 Build 26200
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7900X
- GPU: RTX 4090 - Game Ready Driver - 596.36
When I wear the headset and restart the service in Pimax Play, the galaxy menu briefly flashes up before cutting to a black screen. Pimax Play then shows the error: "Sensors can't track headset.", with the tip: "Please re-plug the USB3.0 and make sure the USB is plugged into the USB3.0 port of the computer".
So far i've:
- Tried every USB 3.0 port on my PC (front and back)
- Restarted PC multiple times
- Fully uninstalled and reinstalled Pimax Play
- Downgraded to Pimax Play v1.41
- Physically moved the headset around, adjusted room lighting, opened/closed curtains
I've got a support ticket open, and they've asked me to run a script to reset the camera permissions on Windows, which doesn't seem to have helped. Has anyone else got the same problem?
