I’m a beginner with a refurb RP, some budget primes, and a telephoto zoom:

• RF 16mm f2.8
• RF 28mm f2.8
• RF 50mm f1.8
• RF 100-400 f5.6-8

For travel, I’d like to reduce the number of lenses to bring. I feel like the 28-70mm f2.8 helps replace the primes while retaining low light performance, but the 24-105mm f4 is a wider range and an “L” lens. Refurb pricing is $880 for the 28-70, $1000 for the 24-105, pretty close.

For anyone who chose between these two, what was your pick?
