So i've received my Stackchan and the bot himself's totally cool, but I have a few out-of-the-box problems and wanted to share them.
I can't find the 6-digit code to pair it with the Xiaozhi.me website. I tried a lot of stuffs and i just can't access it. I guess without that code, it'll be really really limited unless I link it to a Home Assistant server. Was a bit disappointed to see there wasn't some easyly findable section for those kind of stuffs in the settings
The phrasing is choppy, limited by the text displaying on the screen, I guess there's some basic tweaking that could resolve this
The IR remote doesn't stay in the chan when restarted and must be redownloaded which pretty much kill the point.
The android app is totally choppy as well, like dance, avatar etc are definitely too slow to be used correctly. Also cruelly missing a "take a picture" button, like, it seems obvious
It automatically turns off too fast, no way to keep it in a corner of your desk until you need it, it just fall asleep after like 5 mins
For now it's a cool toy, i'm sure a lot of problems are gonna be solved in the future months, can't wait to see all of this growing
