I'm kinda confused.

Lots of sources state that 16G is the standard, but I see 18G around and my professional piercer also normally uses the green one.

BD Venflon cannula sizes are:

Green 18G - inner diameter 1,0 mm, outside 1,3mm

Grey 16G - inner 1,4 mm, outside 1,7 mm

What would be the best for a hoop?

What jewelery size freshly after piercing?

I currently have 1,2 mm labrets with 8-10 mm lenght and 3-5 mm disc/ball size.

I think about green cannula with 1,2/8/4 or 5 labret.
