Appearance after braces
So I had braces for 2.5~ years and got them off about a week ago. I have never been overly confident in my appearance but recently I’d been doing better. But now that it’s been a week since I got my braces removed, my face looks slightly different. And it’s actually making me feel really ugly. I don’t really know what I’m looking for by posting this, maybe someone who’s had a similar experience?? Does it get better? Does your face change much from now on?
I’ve already been battling my own brain about whether or not to get lip filler for the past god knows how many years, but now I feel like I’m actually going to go ahead with it. It sucks because I’ve tried so hard to be happy with my looks for so long, and I thought that I would be happier with straight teeth… but it just feels off. I catch myself looking at older photos from before/during treatment and wishing I still looked like that :(
