Still on the fence between these 2 MPVs. Family of 3 (on the heavier side) switching from a sedan. Mostly city driving, with the occasional long distance out-of-town trips. Drives mostly in North QC, so road condition is mostly bad. Wanted to get your inputs from personal experience with both models. Limiting options to ICE vehicles for now as we're not ready to take that HEV/EV plunge yet. Whatever we choose will be the main family car for the next 10 yrs.
Reasons for considering:
BR-V VX
- Slightly higher ground clearance.
- Better tech than the Innova XE
- Gas still cheaper than diesel.
- Familiarity with Honda ergonomics.
Innova XE
- Bigger engine.
- Better suspension/ride feel from what I hear.
- Better performance under full load perhaps?
- Trying to buy into that Toyota brand reliability.
