So I'm looking to buy a horse, I am not particularly tall (around 5ft2-5ft3) and I went to view this 15 hand ish mare she's 5 yo and still has quite a bit of filling out and muscle and a bit of weight to put on. She is absolutely adorable, and a lovely horse. But I am scared I'm a bit too big on her, seeing as in the picture my stirrups are also jump length.
I went to see another 15h but it was a connie so quite a lot more barrel, I didn't look quite so big on the connie but now I think I might be too big on this ish. I don't mean to big in weight, I know I am not, but is it worth buying something that is on the smaller side. I'm looking to do some eventing so would need some dressage length stirrups and I'm scared I'd look ridiculous. 😅
Will her putting on muscle and weight make her a bit bigger?
