

Ramen Nagi - Red King and Green King
Been wanting to try this chain for a while and finally had a chance to hit up their San Diego shop last night. I got the red, spice level 2, my wife got the green, we both got the thin noodles cooked firm and both added tamago and extra cabbage (not pictured)
Obviously the colorful broths are the first thing to catch your eye. Super flavorful rich tonkotsu with a nice kick from the spice. I like the addition of ground pork a lot, pieces cling to the noodles with each bite. Decent egg, could have been a little more jammy/runny for my taste if I’m being nitpicky. Only had a couple bites of the green but the Japanese Italian fusion is interesting and well executed.
Left full and happy, one of the better bowls I’ve had outside of Japan. Will definitely be back
