Participants needed for Thesis Study! (Between 18-75)
My name is Kiera Hodgson and I'm looking for participants for my thesis study on mock jury decisions.
CONTENT WARNING: Please be aware that the study will ask you to read a court case trial scenario. The scenario will cover topics regarding crimes, which may be sexual in nature - some may find these sensitive or upsetting, please proceed with caution. There may also be some description of the injuries that the victim suffered. You will also be asked to respond to some questions about how people look, and how you feel about your own body image and appearance. Participants who feel that this might be upsetting to them are advised to not take part.
You are invited to take part in our research study looking at juror decision-making. You will be asked to read a criminal case scenario which will describe a crime that allegedly occurred. As part of this, it will include a description of what happened and the injuries suffered. This study will also ask questions regarding your attitudes towards punishment and different crimes, different people and feelings about your own body image.
