So I was doing my water change as usual when I noticed Galinda my betta of 1 1/2 years developed this weird white lump from his gills and was hoping someone could help Id what the issue is, I’ve been super busy with school and finals that I’m only noticing it now, it def wasn’t like two weeks ago, so hopefully I’m catching it early.

All tank parameters are great, I treated the water with a fungal/bacterial medicine for health added new almond leaves, and I’m keeping the temp 78-80 lmk if I can do anything else to ensure what ever this is goes away.

Hoping it’s not a tumor or smth 😭
