Its not precisely polished, I just made it the other day instead of paying attention to my lectures. I will fix the flicker when eating and other stuff and share the repo if anyone is interested.
Lua was absolutely the right choice.
Since the release I've been doing so much stuff with my config that I couldn't do before (or it would be much harder) like changing layouts at runtime. I even made a fucking snake game with windows as pixels. A SNAKE GAME MADE WITH THE WM CONFIG. If I (idiot) can do that, the possibilities are endless (for actual functionality, not just games).
And to anyone complaining about the changes, I get it, not everyone has the time or wants to spend hours reconfiguring like me. But you are using the bleeding edge of a FREE piece of software whose version number starts with a 0. The devs not only don't owe you stability, they don't owe us nothing. If tomorrow they decide to switch the config language to scratch you don't update or use a different wm. If you want the developers of your software to actually owe you reliability and stability then go with apple or windows and at least you'll be right to complain. Stop getting mad at volunteers doing what they think is best, for this and for every single open source project.
The docs are fucked tho, I'll give you that.
