So basically, we were together for like 4 years. We had our highs and lows like everyone else, but honestly, it was literal goals. We were so obsessed with each other. Our families are super close, we spent 24/7 together, and we even crossed that line during some trips we took.
Then we broke up for the most random reason, honestly. He got all up in his head thinking he wasn't "good enough" for me and had this bad gut feeling that he’d end up hurting me, so he just bailed.
But here’s the thing that’s tripping me out: nothing actually changed. We still talk every single day. Since our families are always linking up, we’re constantly together, just laughing and vibing like always. It’s still so fusionnel, it feels like we never even broke up.
We actually had a "what are we" talk recently. He told me I’m an amazing person and that he’s definitely keeping me around because he can’t imagine life without me. He said he’s never been this close to anyone, that I know him better than anyone else, and he straight up admitted he still has feelings and thinks we’re endgame—like, marriage vibes.
He’s just super locked in on his future and his studies right now. He’s always got a million plans, so I feel like he’s just trying to stay focused and doesn't want a "serious relationship" to distract him from the grind.
Small detail though: we have this really freaky sense of humor, and he’s always lowkey hinting at us doing things next time we link up. I’m totally down for it, but I just need to know if he actually loves me or if I’m just bugging. It’s all just so blurry right now.
