Just started on Elvanse. How long should it last?
So I just started taking Elvanse 20mg (literally today) and the literature with the tablets and what I was told by the doctors is that it should last about 13 hours however I took it at 8am so that should keep me going till 9pm but it definitely wore off hours before that, maybe about 6.
When I took the tablet this morning I started to feel an effect withing an hour, I couldn't say what it was specifically but I was definitely feeling different, better. One of the big issues I was dealing with was emotional regulation especially with my 4 year old, I'd get short and snap at him over nothing and today was one of our best days together so the near 2 grand I've spent already is worth it but around 6ish I started to notice things niggling at me and I was wanting to tell him off.
I know it's the earliest of days but what are other people's experiences with this kind of thing. Would a higher dose last longer or would it just help my symptoms "more" for about the same amount of time?
