Just picked up my first truck last week. It has 65K miles on it, and was fully blue certified by ford. I bought the best extended warranty possible which covers everything for peace of mind especially after research.

I noticed when test driving it, it seemed to shift hard in each gear, and stutters when cruising while giving it some gas in each gear. The guys said it was normal, how it’s “ blue certified “, and a “ chevy thing “. Google and reddit seem to think the same, but I wanted to get the warranty in case there’s something truly wrong which i did.

Before I waste my time bringing it in, is this truly normal, or should i bring it in to confirm? As i said, i have a warranty so it wouldn’t cost anything.

If it is normal, what can I do to have a smooth ride?
