i get huge lag spikes when entering any kind of forest area
around the beaches, or in fields, or even small patches of trees/ bushes my game runs fine, usually steady 60fps, but when i start getting close to / entering bigger dense forests my framerate just completely dies making the game unplayable. i've got good internet, i'm pretty confident that's not the cause
has anybody else experienced this or know a possible fix?
i've tried changing graphics settings, max, min, lower resolution... nothing seems to make any difference, maybe my pc just can't handle it? idk.. it'll run pretty much everything else fine (4K, maxed, i don't use ray tracing tho, my gpu hates it for some reason)
intel i5 -9400f 2.90GHz
RTX 3070 Ti (8GB)
32GB RAM 2400MHz (i forget if its DDR4 or 5)
SSD
if anybody knows a fix, i'd be super appreciative. just got this game a couple days ago but i can't really play it b/c a lot of the map is forest, which atm, i can't enter w/o dropping to 1FPS
