Does anyone know the buyback/return period for CPOs?

Just bought a CPO '23 CX5 yesterday from a dealership. Thought it was loud but I'm not a car guy and didn't know any better. My mechanic brother clocked it as a possible transmission/transfer case issue and one of his coworkers at his shop agreed. Brought it back to the dealer and the mechanic there agreed that there was some sound and they took it in to inspect and possibly change out some parts (powertrain and CPO warranty are currently active). Hoping it's a solitary issue and can be fixed easily since I really like the car otherwise, but I'm hearing from those around me (including my brother) that if there's any other sketchy stuff that should've been caught in the CPO inspection it might be best to just give it back to the dealer. I'm moving 12 hours away from family in a few weeks to start medical residency and I'm hoping not to be dealing with car troubles/an unsafe car. There's a Mazda dealership not too far from where I'll be staying, but unless I get an error message, I probably won't be able to identify any hard to notice issues.

Long story short: does anyone know what the return/buyback period is for CPOs? My brother seemed to think it was 5 days but I see pretty different ranges online. I still have 4ish years on powertrain warranty, a year of limited CPO warranty, and I got the platinum extension thing (which, to my understanding, extends the CPO warranty to 96 months) if that makes any difference. Apologies for any miswordings/misunderstandings, this is my first car and I know very little about cars/car buying
