Just added plants today, going to let them grow and monitor for about a month and if all looks well then I’ll add the vampire crabs. Any advice in the meantime? I’m thinking of switching out the uv light for something a little less harsh. I monitor humidity of land sections and temperature of the water section.
Ammonia levels came out at 1.0 this morning, I did a ~30% change and tested the treated water and it’s showing 0. I overthink a lot and I really want to ensure I’m not gonna fuck things up with this set up. Would y’all recommend I get RO setup? Or can I just stick to treating tap water? Because my general hardness is still pretty high. Planning to add plants today
This is my first tank setup, I’m about to go get some natural soil from the forest behind me and clean it for the land portion. Any advice before I do? Leca balls and a mesh on top of that.
