[SOLVED] The moss was the issue. Tried just about every other block on the wiki before switching to grass blocks and immediately started working. Not sure if a bug or error with online info, but the sniffers only seem to successfully dig on grass blocks!

Solo Hardcore world in 1.21.11. I created a 20x20 flat area with moss for the ground as a new sniffer farm. The sniffers, however, are not digging up any seeds. I have been tweaking and changing things for about the last hour with no success. Is there something obvious that I am missing? Any solutions?
