I've found several hole-in-the-wall spots in Los Angeles that you'd never guess had pool tables unless you walked inside. Some look completely abandoned. If you have hidden gems to add to the list, please do!

Here are a couple:

1. Libertad Soccer Club - 1410 Olympic Blvd, Santa Monica, CA 90404.

  • I'm a regular here. Great place with some good one-pocket action.
  • Four Brunswick 9ft tables with tight pockets and two billiards tables.
  • Great, quiet place to practice.
  • Very reasonable hourly rate ($7/hr last I checked).

2. Cybercade DTLA - undisclosed address (not sure if the owner wants the address thrown around). You can DM their instagram for details - Cybercade_DTLA

  • I play BCA here on Tuesday nights.
  • Tournaments every Friday.
  • Five 7ft tables.
  • Ping Pong on Wednesdays.

P.S. There should be a flair for pool halls.
