About Ohranger and the "tone change"
I've recently started to watch Ohranger and I remember having seen a lot of discussion about how the earlier episodes are darker in tone before the series eventually takes a sudden change for the silly because of real life reasons. I have watched up to episode 7 so far and I have to be honest, I can't wait for this supposed tone change to happen because this is BORING, the action is good and I love the aesthetic the show has going on but outside of that I feel like I can tell you more about the UOAH commander as a character before I could tell you anything about the Rangers themselves, 7 episodes in is way too long for them to still have no discernible personalities of their own, and I don't mean that they are just a bit bland, I mean there is LITERALLY NOTHING to say about any of them. Compared to how the previous Sentai (Kakuranger) hooked me instantly, I am not vibing with Ohranger at all. How do you all feel about the earlier episodes? Do things get better, worse or remain the same after the tone shift?
