What are the limits for the Room of Requirement?
Besides Gamp’s Law of Elemental Transfiguration, would there be any other limits? For instance, Malfoy spent a whole year trying to fix the Vanishing Cabinet to give the Death Eaters entry into the school. But then in DH, Neville gets the room to open up a passage to the Hog’s Head. Surely Malfoy could’ve just used the room similarly but instead of the Hog‘s Head the passage could’ve led elsewhere. I’m not sure Malfoy knew the full capabilities of the room, though. Plus, he’s not all that smart.
Anyway, I was just wondering how limitless the possibilities are. It doesn’t seem to produce objects from nothing but rather borrows them from other places. If you went in there and needed a book from the Restricted Section, would it appear there?
