Hi. I have a system here
CPU: R7 5800X
GPU: RTX 3080 TRINITY 10GB
Motherboard: ASUS TUF B550M GAMING Plus Wifi
It’s suppose to have a 3080 inside. But whenever I on the system, it failed to post and always stuck on either VGA LED, or VGA AND BOOT LED. No display. I have tested other GPUs like RTX 2070 Super and RTX 3050. No issues booting up and displaying.
I have also tested the 3080 on my test bench and it runs well, can pass furmark no issues.
I have taken the following troubleshooting steps
CLEAR CMOS
CHANGED CPU (to another R7 5800X
CHANGED RAM
Updated TO LATEST BIOS
Tried with my tester 750W GOLD PSU
CLEANED ALL 4 VIDEO OUTPUT PORTS WITH IPA
Cleaned the PCIE contact pins with IPA AS WELL.
FORCED the PCIE to run at GEN 3
FORCED the PCIE to run at GEN 4.
Doesn’t work still… any advice? Thanks
