My daughter is going to college and we are looking at getting her a scooter. She's going to live on campus. She's 5'6" 90 lbs so we don't want to get her anything too big or heavy. If we got her a motorized scooter with a seat would that count as a mobility aid? Motorized scooters aren't allowed in the dorms but mobility aids are. She is already registered with the campus disability services.
