Hello there,

for around four years now I own a Thinkpad T14 Gen2 (20XL) with an AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 5850U. A couple months ago all ports on the right hand side stopped working (1x USB, 1x Ethernet). I believe it is a hardware issue since USB-Sticks or the Ethernet indicator do not light up when anything is plugged in.

I tried updating the BIOS, different operating systems (Win11 and Linux Mint) as well as pressing the reset-pin on the bottom of the notebook without success.

Is this a common problem? What is the most likely cause?
