Had one of THOSE days Friday where I couldn't bring myself to tackle my big commute by bike, I jumped on the train all the way to and from work...
Fast forward to today, after resting Friday and then the weekend! (did a quick 30 minute spin, that's it) my energy was endless and over an hour into my commute (mine's 90 mins total) I still felt like a missile! Some of you are probably like "duh! you're rested..." but I kinda thought I was improving real slowly... usually getting tired around the 75 minute mark, but today was so fun, felt so strong the entire ride after a proper rest.
Make sure you all are giving yourself a rest when you can. Performance skyrockets!
