My (pen) name is Lonan, and I write many themes of poetry. Romance, some mature stuff, horror, fantasy, cutesy, haiku (is planned!), I even take requests, FOR FREE! I write about close to anything within reason! I also believe that love is the foundation of life. Criticism is completely okay, and I'd love to hear it! Poem Title: Decaying Midas
Collection: Contritious Lullabies

Fairy tales are comforting—similar to a dream,
Tears in my eyes every night the voices scream, Seems as if I had been stripped of a swell ending, Townsfolk expect me to be the Prince Charming, Although all I ever can accomplish is to fall apart, Never will I be worthy of a fresh and fairer start,
I must grow up and become the man King wants, Always daunting whilst the echoes keep taunting, The Queen is far from hopeful-nor maternal,
While The King-completely selfish and stalling,
Am I enough to defeat the monster demanding,
Or am I absolutely worthless and short standing?

This plague haunts me deep from within,
It buries me deeper than each of my sins,
I look around only to see that I am bound,
Left crying without any decibels of sound,
My mind is akin to a desecrated chapel,
If I die would I consume a poison apple?
