Hi everyone,

I’m 21 years old and have recently been going through the process of being diagnosed with Autism (Asperger’s) and ADHD. As part of my health check-ups, I had a comprehensive blood panel done, which included testing my testosterone levels.

My results are:

  • Testosterone: 17.4 ng/dL (which is extremely low)
  • LH: 0.2 mIU/mL
  • FSH: 5.03 mIU/mL

My GP, who admitted he doesn’t have much expertise in this specific area, prescribed me 50mg Testogel sachets as a temporary measure, which I’ve been taking for three days now. I have an appointment at a urology center on May 19th for further specialized treatment.

Additionally, I had an MRI scan (initially required for potential ADHD medication), and the results showed that my pituitary gland is normal/unremarkable.

I’m struggling to understand what these specific values mean and what the potential underlying causes could be. Does anyone have experience with a similar hormonal profile or insights on why my LH is so low while my FSH is in a more normal range? Are there any specific questions I should ask the urologist, or additional tests I should request?

Any support or information would be greatly appreciated, as this has been a really overwhelming time for me with the ongoing diagnoses. Thanks in advance.
