Just doing my first durge run with my friend and wanted thoughts on something i came up with for it so far... thoughts? My homie wanted to do a similar build to synergize with m so we compromised on armor. Might not be OP or insanely strong but it’s a gimmick i wanna try.
Stats:
Str: 8
Dex 15+2 (Ethiel +1, AI boost +2, Mirror of loss +2)
Con: 14
Int: 12
Wis:10
Cha: 13+1
Race: Wood Elf (Movement) Lvls: Rogue 1, Gloom 2-6 (AI boost), Thief 7-12 (Defensive Duelist)
Ranger:
Bounty hunter and Urban Tracker, Dueling
Weapons:
Main: Knife of the Undermountain King
Range: Idk yet
Armor: Most of it is in Act 2...
Head: Covert Cal (Crit while Obscured)
Clock: Cunning Brume (fog cloud whenever disengaging, heavily obscured, every turn) Gimmick evolves around this.
Armor: Dark Justiciar Mail (Homie has Bhaalist armor)
Gauntlets: Bone Spike (piercing resist gone.)
Boots: Night walkers (Misty step and passives)
Amulet: Misty Step (Short rest)
Ring 1: Eversight (Immunity to blind) Must for the gimmick.
Ring 2: Shadow Cloaked (1d4 while obscured)
How it should work in theory... I get first turn or close to first turn. I walk up to enemy, pop disengage to make the smoke cloud, they blinded but im not. Sneak attack and do anther attack. Depending on what happens who against who, stay in smoke, use second bouns action to misty step away, or just move.
It’ll work with darkness which is what we also got going on with my with buddies oathbreakr build for minthara, that build should be ILLEGAL. I’ve heard him just say “Youuu” and suddenly I watch a nuke happen across the room.
I made a Gloom5/Thief4/SpellBlade3 build for charisma scaling, more misty steps, and other stuff where booming blade is involved but thats for me to think over still.
