Hi! I am visiting Georgia soon and will be staying in Tsinandali for a few nights. I’d like to go on a wine tour one day but it doesn’t look like there are any local tours available - only those embarking from Tblisi.
As I will be drinking therefore not driving I am going to look at booking a driver via GoTrip for the day and designing my own schedule.
Does anyone have any recommendations for wineries to stop at? I’m not that bothered about learning about the process and tours (I’ve been to plenty in other countries). I’m more about the scenery and wine tastings rather than cellars and fermentation processes :)
I was thinking of visiting Sighnaghi and stopping at Lost Ridge Inn, Brewery & Ranch for lunch.
Lastly, I land early morning. Any recommendations for any must stop offs en route from Tblisi airport to Tsinandali?
