36 year old female diagnosed with Sjogrens and a small hiatal hernia. 4/28 felt spaced out and internally jittery. Started having heart palpitations, shortness of breath and chest pain. Went to the ER where blood work, ekg and chest xray ruled out anything serious. Suggested I follow up with a cardiologist. Went 4/30 and had an ECG (attached). He told me it was abnormal but didn’t elaborate. I’m on a ZIO monitor for 14 days and have an echo and chemical stress test in 3 weeks. I am still having constant heart palpitations and on and off chest pains (4-8 times an hour) and shortness of breath just from walking around. I don’t know when to worry or when to go back to the ER.

Context: I’m a 36 year old female diagnosed with Sjogrens Syndrome and a small hiatal hernia. I’ve had heart palpitations on and off for a few months but never thought much of it because it always went away. Tuesday at work I was having them again but they weren’t stopping. Then I started having chest pain and shortness of breath. I left work and went to the hospital. They ruled out heart attack other ekg and blood work. Yesterday I went to the cardiologist and they did an ecg and all he said was it was abnormal but didn’t elaborate. I’m not on a monitor for 14 days, have a chemical stress and echo scheduled in 4 weeks. My worry is my symptoms are still there. Still having non stop heart palpitations and on and off chest pain and shortness of breath when I move. Just seems like a long time to wait when it’s your heart. I’m attaching my ecg from 4/30/26
