Any reason for the massive spike of spam calls?

Hi, I’ve noticed that I’ve been getting at least 10 spam calls a day for the last few weeks. I was hoping they’d go away after a few days, but they’re still coming in consistently, and it’s becoming a bit much.

I’m using DS Premium Unlimited + Warp as my multi-carrier option. Is it possible that my information was sold or something?

Any advice you could offer would be greatly appreciated!

New Beryl 7 owner. A few setup questions!

Just picked up the Beryl 7 as a travel router for hotels, Airbnbs, and airport/airplane Wi-Fi. Did my research and this kept coming up as the best "beginner-friendly" option. Think I have it set up correctly but have some questions. Please ELI5, I'm a complete newbie.

My setup**:** Beryl connected to my home FiOS (1GB) as a repeater to configure everything. MLO is OFF, both 2.4GHz and 5GHz are ON with the same SSID and password (guest Wi-Fi off).

  1. Same SSID for both bands: does this actually help devices switch between frequencies automatically, or is it just a myth?
  2. Speed drop seems extreme. Direct connection gets 850–900 Mbps (Fast.com). Through the Beryl on repeater mode: 48–86 Mbps with VPN off, similar with VPN on. Is that kind of drop normal for wireless repeater mode?
  3. iCloud Private Relay: Could this be tanking my speeds?
  4. AdGuard Home: on or off for general use?
  5. Mullvad servers: I have 213 US servers added. Should I trim it down to just my home state?
  6. WireGuard server: Do I even need an active WireGuard server if I'm only using this as a travel repeater?
  7. Obfuscation: Should I enable it?
  8. Network settings: Leave everything default, or worth tweaking?
