Hello! I'm finalizing the cover for my partner's next book and wanted to run it by you all to see if there's anything I should be considering. First image is just the cover, second is the full spread, and third is the spread for the first book I made a few years ago, for reference (though critique of that is also welcome). This is a fantasy series set in a modern college town; the main character is a female college student. I went with a lighter theme for the series to stand out from the originally published (terrible) cover of the first book.

I'm a little worried the front cover is too minimal, but I couldn't think of exactly what I'd add.
