Well...simple by my standards at least since I usually do some kind of intricate nail art 🙂‍↕️ but with end-of-semester campus events, finals, and preparing to move out of my dorm (all of which kept me from posting this sooner; this mani was actually done on April 29th), I figured it was time to pack my nail tools away and just stick to a one color set this time around. I say this is "simple", but this actually took around two hours to do because of the difficulty I had in setting the magnetic effect; I actually redid my entire left hand a cat eye style because the top coat completely fucked up the velvet effect I had worked so hard to achieve. 🥹 Same thing happened with the attempted glass bead on my right hand that dispersed more into a velvet style after one or two days, but I'm honestly not mad about that one. 🤷🏾‍♂️

ILNP Ritual (x2 on right hand, x3 on left hand)

L.A. Colors Matte Top Coat (x1, thought it would help preserve the magnetic effect; it did not 🥲)

I planned to stock up on Dermasil's whipped recovery cream + maybe try out the eye roller and hydra serum from the same line (though I'm not sure if they're even really necessarily for my skin given how young I am; I've just been i fluenced by the sub lol 🙂‍↔️). So imagine my disappointment when over this weekend, I went to three Dollar Trees in my area, and not a single one of them had any of these Dermasil products in stock! 😭 It was especially frustrating because I had been to Dollar Tree one or two weeks prior, and I KNOW one store had them in stock, but I held off on buying them because I was waiting to stock up on stuff before moving out of my dorm. Should've known they would have disappeared as soon as I wanted to get them. 💔
