Writing Letter of Recommendation After Being Fired?

Hey everyone, I would like a little advice on how to navigate this situation in a professional and ethical way.

The short version of the story is that I was recently fired from my position at a company managing volunteers due to issues between myself and my direct supervisor. I had a great relationship with the volunteers and other staff members there. I just had one of the volunteers from that job reach out to me requesting a letter of recommendation for another volunteer program at a similar institution (they're moving, no drama!) This is a pretty regular request from the volunteers that I would have done without a second thought while employed there and I would really like to do that for them as they were an excellent volunteer, I am just a bit unsure how to do so professionally. I normally would include my job title and the information of my employer, but now that feels inappropriate as I am no longer employed? Does anyone have any thoughts about how I can give them what they need (a good letter of rec from a direct supervisor) without crossing professional boundaries.

I tend to overthink things as a neurodivergent person so apologies if this is an odd question. Thank you in advance!
