Something you've never seen here!
Maybe I’m getting old, but some of y’all genuinely don’t understand how insane CODM is as a piece of technology.
I grew up on a Sega Genesis, N64, and Game Boy. If you told younger me that one day I’d carry a device in my pocket capable of running a full online multiplayer shooter with 120 FPS, voice chat, giant BR maps, customizable controls, haptics, ranked play, clans, skins, cross-region matchmaking, and graphics that look better than some old console games… I would’ve said you were crazy.
Instead, every time I open this subreddit it’s:
“meta bad”
“shotguns unfair”
“mythics pay to win”
“someone’s username offended me”
“someone trash talked me in a Call of Duty lobby”
Brother… it’s Call of Duty. Trash talk and busted metas are part of the ecosystem. Always have been.
Meanwhile I’m over here still blown away that I can sit in a parking lot, on a lunch break, or in bed at 2am and drop into a full multiplayer match on a literal phone.
The fact this exists at all is cool as hell. Some of y’all forgot to enjoy videogames.
